Everything In Moderation ~ Let's Cheat

It seems to me that one of the problems people face when changing themselves is that they yearn to cheat ~ get lazy, etc.

I allow myself to chat/get lazy Saturday and Sunday.   I still go to the gym ~ I go to Xsport Fitness but I am pretty much a couch potato after that and I will do takeout and enjoy the food that I do not eat during the week.  I may even take a nap ~ something that I also don't do during the week :)

Cheating is ok ~ as long as you don't cheat everyday and live a balanced life during the week.

Healthy Inside

Being healthy inside was one of the hardest part of my transformation.  I LOVE food.  I LOVE to cook.  The type of food I love to cook, though in comfort food.

In order to help me be healthy inside, though, I decided to employ Weight Watchers Points.  This was the easiest option for me.

You are able to eat a TON of food doing Weight Watchers Points.  What I also elected to do was to do a complete cleanse.  Dr Natura is one of the best cleansers on the market.  You not only can cleanse your colon but you can also cleanse heavy metals and toxins out of your body.

Lean Cusine, Weight Watchers, Progresso Soup, Jello, Green Giant and Healthy Pop Popcorn became my best friend along with countless fruits.

Weight Watchers makes having a healthy inside easy and fun.

The Bible

My first job was to become a better person inside.  Don't get me wrong ~ I'm not a bad person but I needed to become more quietly spiritual.

My Bibles were going to be three books that I purchased:

Everyday Grace by Marianne Williamson

Simple Abundance A Daybook of Comfort and Joy Sarah Ban Breathnach

The Power of Now Eckhart Tolle

Every morning at 6:00 a.m. ~ I read something out of each book.

Marianne Williamson encourages us to nurture our soul in a very harsh world.  Marianne Williamson's mantra is to have hope, find forgiveness and make miracles

In Simple Abundance your daily life can be an expression of your authentic self.  Style and spirit is celebrated!!!

In the Power of Now, Eckhart Tolle teaches you to live in the NOW.  Let go of the past and you are a happier, healthier, more well rounded human being.  Stop living with guilt, stop living with regret and start LIVING.

Welcome

On January 1, I decided that this year ~ I was going to reinvent myself.  I was going to, at the ripe age of 53, reinvent myself and become a healthier, more zen type of person.

Was it a midlife crisis?  Who knows?  But it was going to be something that I really wanted to do.

I was going to reinvent every single aspect of my life.  Risky  ~ absolutely!!!!  Scary ~ yeppers!!!  An adventure ~ oh yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This makeover was going to be a head to toe makeover inside and out.  Hair, face, body and how I lived my life was going to be totally changed.
